How reliable is the b’DT unit?

Safety is very important during driving. How does the design of b’DT help in this respect?

Basically, the user only needs a normal computer (with internet connection) to run the web based program. Unlike other conventional systems, the user is required to invest heavily in the back end hardware (server) to run the system. However, since our system is web based, this is not required. In short, the start up cost of our system is very low. More importantly, software upgrades are no longer required as everything is done on our server.

While radio dispatching offers immediate communications, there are many short falls to this method. Yes, the taxi meter can be interfaced to b’TOSS. The level of integration is only to detect when the meter is hired or vacant status. The system is not able to ‘read’ the fare amount. This makes the integration with b’TOSS fast and simple as most taxi meters have some sort of interface to indicate the status.
